As a Financial Crime Detection Solution Architect, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution committed to combating financial crime. You'll play a vital role in defining and executing the technology vision and strategy for the Financial Crime value stream.

Your main responsibilities:

• Creating and owning architecture deliverables for projects
• Contributing to the definition and delivery of target architecture
• Coordinating solution design across geographically dispersed teams
• Producing knowledge transfer documentation for transitioning solutions
• Understanding the business context to mitigate risks effectively
• Inspiring and mentoring team members, fostering a collaborative environment
• Analyzing complex issues and devising effective solutions
• Ensuring optimal performance and efficiency in business operations
• Assessing and designing business processes and systems
• Effectively engaging and addressing stakeholders' needs and concerns

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Strong technical and solution architecture background
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with various stakeholders
• Experience, knowledge, and understanding of enterprise-level software development and API-based integration e.g. Mulesoft, Kong
• The ability to serve as an active participant in architecture groups and forums communicating solution strategy and design in conversation, documentation, and presentations
• Experience in digital and broader architectural transformation, applying solutions from experience in decomposing monolithic solutions and methods to manage technical debt

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Enterprise-scale software engineering experience
• Experience in the financial services domain with practical technology mobilization
• Proficiency in codebase interrogation, particularly Java and Spring Boot
• Familiarity with Agile principles, DevOps tools, and processes
