Job description
Responsibilities:
- Administer, monitor & maintain global server infrastructure.
- Design and build scalable, highly available and redundant infrastructure for company products.
- Work closely with Development & Data Science teams for ongoing projects & deployments.
- Investigation and triage of issues.
- Validate and potentially implement new technologies, keep up with trends and best market solutions.
Job requirements:
- Desire to keep on improving and developing implemented systems.
- Knowledge of Ansible, HAProxy, Varnish, Nginx, PHP-FPM, Node.js, Redis, RabbitMQ, Elasticsearch, Git, setup and troubleshooting skills.
- MySQL scaling, monitoring & debugging skills.
- Understanding of firewalls, routing, switching, typical internet protocols.
- Knowledge of Linux Debian.
- Ability to write Bash scripts for ongoing operational tasks.
- Openness and willingness to learn.
- Intermediate spoken and written English.
Pluses:
- Knowledge of Python or PHP, Docker, Kubernetes, Kibana, Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic, Jira, Confluence, BitBucket.
- DevOps skills.
