Intel's Artificial Intelligence Product Group (AIPG) is seeking an experienced System Software Engineer to support growth of our engineering team in Gdansk, Poland. This is an excellent opportunity to make a global impact and join the dynamic team developing and validating software for Intel NervanaTM Neural Network Processor.
In this role you will:
In this role you will:
- Work on low-level software for Intel's first Deep Learning Accelerator.
- Be responsible for software enabling (device drivers) of the Neural Network Processor hardware.
- Demonstrate and role-model excellent collaboration skills beyond organizational and geographical boundaries.

Qualifications:
- Knowledge of computer architecture: CPU, SOC, chipsets, BIOS, firmware, drivers.
- Proven track record of architecting, designing, and delivering SW/FW solutions.
- Demonstrate technical leadership and inter-personal leadership skills.
- Excellent customer communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a multi-geographical development environment, coordinating with other architects, engineers, marketers, and planners.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision in relatively unstructured environment.
- Ability to thrive in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or relevant field.
- 5+ years of experience in SW/FW design or development.
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with neural networks, deep learning concepts and/or prior experience in working with deep learning tools/frameworks.
- experience in development of hardware-optimized SW (low level DSP algorithms, assembly language).
