The Intel Embedded Software development team is looking for a software developer to work in our ITP Gdansk design center to facilitate the delivery of the next generation of Intel High Performance Computing HPC products. HPC is being used today to help solve some of the world's most challenging scientific needs, including fusion energy, bio-medical research, physics, as well as traditional engineering such as aeronautic and automotive engineering.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, while managing multiple tasks and activities.
The scope of tasks will include: Software design, coding, documentation and validation Interface with Hardware design teams Interface with Verification team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline, or the equivalent in training and experience, and a minimum of 2 years related experience.
- Incumbent should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to apply engineering, programming, and scientific principles to highly complex technical tasks and problems.
- Two years or more development experience in many of the following areas: C and C++ development.
- Assembly Language RISC processors Low Level Driver development, hardware interfaces.
- Board bring-up, test, and debug.
- Hardware/software integration.
- Development of very high performance products with narrow operating tolerances.
- Strong lab skills, including use of debugger/ICE tools, oscilloscopes, and logic and protocol analyzers.
- TCP/IP or other protocol stacks.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas would be a plus: Experience with InfiniBand or another HPC interconnect Embedded Linux VxWorks or similar RTOS, including BSP development.
