The Data Platforms Group at Intel is at the heart lt3 of our transformation from a PC company to a company which powers the cloud and billions of smart connected computing devices. Data center technologies created in Intels RampD. Center in Gdansk Poland are being applied in wide range of products that are used in virtually every computing center that exists in the world as well as integrated into products and services offered by Intels direct customers.
Building Cloud Native applications applications that can be deployed anywhere from the Edge to the Cloud is a significant industry trend with projected 11X growth in deployments by 2023. Be part of the global Intel team that optimizes end to end Cloud Native software infrastructure that runs in private and public cloud for Cloud Enterprise Edge and Telco use cases Optimize and enhance existing open source software eg Kubernetes and Envoy in CNCF and create new ones as needs be.
The successful candidate will work on researching and analyzing new technologies from Cloud Orchestration Service Mesh Networking Language Run Times to Benchmarking and Optimization. Data Services engaging with major customers to understand their priorities and use cases providing input to technical direction building and implementing prototypes to production software to deliver best in class Cloud Native Infrastructure and solutions for Intel Architecture IA processors. The successful candidate will enjoy problem solving prototyping designing and implementing solutions

Qualifications:
Important for us
- University degree in a software engineering science related discipline with proven programming track record in industry
- Good knowledge of Golang or Python or JAVA with development experience of Intel Architecturex86 or other multicore processor architecture
- Problem solving skills coupled with a strong aptitude to learn and innovate
Nice to have opportunities to learn:
- Building distributed applications
- Building Cloud Native Microservices based applications in Azure AWS GCP etc
- Building cloud orchestration related technologies eg Kubernetes Docker etc
- Linux development
- Working with influencing and contributing to open source communities and open source projects
