Frontend (React) Technical Lead

Our team is looking for a Frontend (React) Technical Lead for one of our clients.

Our customer is one of the leading digital health and wellness companies globally, with 7+ million customers worldwide, the majority of whom are in the United States. The company has strong technology and a digital marketing platform that provides unparalleled opportunities for entrepreneurial talents and visionaries to find new, effective ways to help people live healthier lives.

The project: a platform for e-commerce of dietary supplements.

Our expectations of the candidate:

• 6+ years of software development experience

• Experience working as a Technical Lead

• Experience working with start-ups or a strong understanding of start-up environments and dynamics

• Strong experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, including React.Context, Redux, or Zustand

• Professional experience with Next.js

• Experience with styled-components, Chakra-UI, and/or SASS

• English: Upper-Intermediate or higher

Responsibilities and tasks:

• Deeply familiarize yourself with the architecture, codebase, and business logic

• Collaborate closely with the current development teams to understand ongoing challenges and technical details

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to developers working on these products

• Coordinate and oversee development efforts to ensure high quality, maintainability, and scalability

• Lead code reviews, enforce best practices, and promote modern technologies and methodologies

• Act as the main technical point of contact for issues across the product portfolio

• Plan and drive technical improvements and refactoring initiatives as needed

• Prepare to gradually take over the full technical leadership and decision-making for the entire product
