Job description
As our Data Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining large-scale data processing systems, ETL processes and our company’s data warehouse.
What we are looking for?
What we are looking for?
- 2+ years of experience in programming (preferably in Scala/Java/Python)
- Being passionate about Big Data technologies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Prior experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and using SQL language
- Being able to quickly grasp the new languages and technologies
- Good knowledge of English (you will be working with our team from the USA, Romania on a daily basis + documentation)
Nice to have:
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Big Data services (Google Cloud Dataflow, Google Bigtable, Google Cloud Dataproc, Google Cloud Pub/Sub, Google BigQuery)
- Prior experience with Hadoop ecosystem (developing batch and streaming data pipelines)
- Experience with Apache Airflow/Apache NiFi
