We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead our Courier Application Mobile Team. Every action you take directly impacts the success of our operations. If you're seeking a role that offers both challenge and excitement, look no further. As an EM, you will oversee the development and maintenance of our mobile application tailored for couriers, ensuring seamless functionality and optimal user experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C#, Xamarin Framework, and Android development, with a keen interest in staying updated with emerging technologies such as .Net MAUI. 


Job Description

  • Lead and manage a team of 5 software engineers, with plans to expand the team to 7-8 members within the coming year. 
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements, timelines, and priorities. 
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. 
  • Drive the development and implementation of best practices for mobile application development, ensuring code quality, performance, and scalability. 
  • Oversee the migration from Xamarin to .Net MAUI framework, addressing any challenges and ensuring a smooth transition. 
  • Develop strategies to address challenges related to poor mobile network conditions, ensuring the application remains functional even in unstable environments. 
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in mobile application development, evaluating their potential impact on our product roadmap. 


Qualifications


Required Experience: 

  • 2+ years of experience on Engineering Manager position 
  • Previous experience in C# and Xamarin Framework. 
  • Proficiency in Android platform development. 
  • Familiarity with .Net MAUI framework is a plus. 
  • Experience in developing applications using the MVVM pattern. 
  • Knowledge of Dependency Injection principles, preferably with experience using Dryioc container. 
  • Familiarity with the Realm mobile database is desirable. 


Nice to Have: 

  • Proficiency in using GIT for version control. 
  • Experience in managing applications with a large user base. 
  • Familiarity with challenges related to mobile network connectivity, especially in regions with poor infrastructure. 
  • Experience with distributed systems 


Current Tech Stack: 

  • C#, Xamarin Forms, and .Net MAUI. 
  • Visual Studio or Rider. 
  • GIT.
