E-commerce grows double digit each year. But still, deliveries are the single biggest problem for consumers. Almost half of all checkouts are abandoned due to shipping problems, equaling 2,000 billion dollars per year. At the same time, we are facing a huge technology shift in last-mile deliveries with faster fulfillment, crowdsourcing apps, predictive shipping, digital locks, drones, self-driving trucks and food delivery platforms. In this shift, Ingrid will provide consumers with a much better shopping experience through an intelligent choice of delivery and flexible last mile deliveries - on their terms.

Ingrid.com has developed an easily integrated shipping choice widget that helps millions of consumers at some of the largest e-retailers in the Nordics to increase their conversion through a simplified and intelligent shipping flow. Our algorithms automatically adapt deliveries to consumer needs and behaviors by analyzing data such as consumer preferences, customer segmentation, time, geography, product category, neighbors behavior, payment readiness, etc. With saved preferences and simplified flow, Ingrid can be liked to a PSP checkout by separating purchases from shipping and thereby increasing merchant conversion at checkout.

We have realized that our main backoffice admin app (React + Redux) has grown too large for its own good and in the wrong direction. Now we see no other way than to take a fresh look at the problem and rewrite it from scratch using better structure, technology and approach. This is a green field project and we are looking for someone who has solid and proven experience building large scale apps. Someone who can help us to set the baseline and the direction so that the app becomes an investment and not a liability. Someone who finds joy in teaching others and can mentor the rest of the team.
