Position Summary
The Infor Design Usability Analyst focuses primarily on the customers’ experience as they interact with Infor’s software, by evaluating what makes a digital system work well and what stands to be improved. This role is important because it contributes to one of Infor’s core strategic pillars, to improve product UX.
You will be tackling the complex usability problems that are native to the enterprise landscape, by employing UX industry best practices and collaborating with a highly skilled team that is also fun to work with.
A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
- Understanding user needs by applying appropriate UX techniques and methodologies
- Researching and documenting user stories and use cases that identify core user challenges and goals that design solutions intend to address
- Creating and annotating detailed user flows and wireframes used to communicate information hierarchies, functional requirements, scrolling behaviors and other integral UX details to product team developers and other UX team members
- Designing user interface prototypes using the Infor Design System
- Verifying existing designs by applying heuristic validation and/or user testing

What Will Put You Ahead?
- Web analytics
- Experience as UX Designer, IxD Designer, Information Architect
- Proficiency in Figma, Sketch and/or Adobe XD for wireframing and prototyping
- Knowledge of usability factors in HCI
- Experience with agile teams
- Experience working with distributed teams
- Previous experience with JIRA
