Senior Application Tester

Profile Skills Set:

Senior Application Tester 10+ years of experience

• Manual testing: Integration, API, system, regression, functional and non-functional testing

• Test automation using Selenium, Rest Assured, Cucumber and other tools

• Test case/scenario’s preparation, design, planning, and reporting.

• Functional requirements analysis/review.

Rest Assured, Selenium, Cucumber, PostMan, jMeter, qTest JSON, XML, SQL, Java, JUnit, OAuth2, CICD, JIRA, Confluence

Experience Required:

Demonstrated experience and successful performance in:

• Understanding of software development lifecycle and quality assurance methodologies, best practices and processes.

• Experience in the implementation of effective software testing methodologies and tools.

• Working together with development teams and other testers in a cooperative environment

• Experience with Legacy systems.

Tasks:

• Perform manual integration, functional and user acceptance tests

• Implement automated tests and embed them into the overall CICD process

• Perform load and other non-functional testing of delivered services/components.

• Prepare test documentation, results and reports.

• Build regression test cases for manual and automatic testing.

• Assist in review business requirements and transformation into test scenarios/cases.

• Make recommendations for test process optimization and assist in the implementation of improvements.

• Follow MIS development practices, including activity tracking with JIRA
