We’re looking for a talented, passionate and collaborative full-stack engineer to work in our rapidly growing Application Development team.  We are a small, friendly organisation that is sees our culture and the way we develop our people as absolutely central to everything that we do. Our start-up nature throws up opportunities and challenges on a daily basis and the successful candidate will thrive in this sort of environment.

You will be mainly working on projects to develop our Mobile Carrier Integration stack to help us integrate efficiently with a growing number of mobile carriers around the world.  The integrations will help us increase our portfolio of carrier partnerships and add to the 13m transactions we process monthly.  Other projects you will work on include:

  • Building new innovative functionality to help to enhance our industry leadership
  • Enhancing our Web Based CMS’s to allow for greater operational management and scalability of our wider business processes
The technology stack you’ll be working with includes (but is not limited to):

C#, .NET, SQL Server, VB.NET, JavaScript, AJAX, VS 2017, TFS 2017, Azure, API App

What you’ll do:

  • Development and deployment of new products and features
  • Integrating with and developing new API’s (SOAP and RESTful), enhance Web Applications, build Windows Services and more...
  • Ensure the code you have written functions as designed by creating automated unit tests
  • Create useful documentation for systems worked on (code commenting, Wiki pages, Swagger, etc)
  • Help others around you grow as developers and be successful together
  • Help drive the success of the wider project team

What you need:

  • Proficiency with .Net
  • Exposure to design patterns. Abstract factory, singleton, decorator, etc.
  • Experience building applications that can scale
  • Self-starter with a ‘can do’ attitude to solving problems to help the wider project team predict, identify and resolve roadblocks
  • Great interpersonal skills as you will be collaborating with cross functional teams for most projects
  • Desire to work in a fast paced, dynamic and fun team setting where we are all aligned in delivering projects

  • Help you grow in your technical knowledge. We provide structured time in the month for your training.  g. time on Plural Site and Udemy, going to partner workshops or seminars (Rackspace, Microsoft, Akamai, etc), hackathons, etc.  We also provide support training from the wider business to enhance your other skills around Project Management, Service Management, Commercial exposure, etc.
  • Listen to your ideas for how we can progress our technology stack, systems and process. You will help define the technologies we use for our projects. We believe in working collaboratively to get the best results possible
