Job description

Your role

As a Full Stack Developer at Infermedica, you'll be involved in most of our products on both the backend and frontend sides. You will co-create our products, from the database, server to HTML with CSS. Your work will have a big impact on the product development and the direction in which it moves.

In addition, our products can be customized to customer requirements. In the future you may be responsible for contact with the client and implementation of his requirements.

In summary, you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Create new and rapidly developing products.
  • Program using new "hot" technologies.
  • Work directly with the client, from collecting requirements to implementation.
  • Own development by receiving and giving regular feedback.

Requirements and skills

In Infermedica we're looking for Full Stack Developer with strong Python-JavaScript background. Our technology stack includes:

  • Backend: Python (Django) and Node.js (Fastify, but Express or Hapi are welcome).
  • Frontend: JavaScript (ES6+; we're in <3 with Vue), HTML5, CSS (we prefer Sass & BEM convention).
  • Database: PostgreSQL and MongoDB
  • It would be even better if you're excited about: Docker, GraphQL and/or Cloud Serverless solutions.
  • It would be nice if you know something about Agile (and Scrum) and know tools like Jira, Confluence or TestRail.

What do we expect from you?

  • Experience - we’re looking for experience (at least 2 years) and knowledge that will allow us to achieve higher quality.
  • Multi-tasking - small development team and several projects? Yes, it's our daily reality. As a curiosity, we can reveal that we have about 90% predictability per Sprint.
  • Good code quality - it's something we are responsible for and it should be optimized, efficient and modular.
  • Communication - as a team we work together and we deliver together. We appreciate the activity at meetings and assertiveness.
  • Understanding - we're still more a startup than a software house or corporation. It's very interesting and challenging stage in our company.
  • Fluent English - is IT industry language, necessary to get requirements from our clients, but in the office we usually communicate in Polish.

Perks and benefits

We're committed to build an open and supportive environment where you can do your best work and grow your competence. You will be working with great people, and we will help you lead a healthy life outside of the office. What benefits do we provide?

  • Flexible forms of employment (employment contract also available)
  • Flexible working hours
  • Opportunity to work remotely – two days a month
  • Paid vacations
  • Any gear you need
  • Private health coverage (PZU)
  • Gym membership (MultiSport)
  • Co-financed lunches

Next steps

Does it sound like a good fit for you? Give it a shot and apply now. Don’t forget to include these in your application:

  • Your resume (or cover letter) in English
  • Links to your online profiles (LinkedIn, GitHub, etc)

We will review your application and arrange to meet and chat in person. We know that looking for a job is stressful. Don't worry and try to relax.

We’d be more than happy to have you on board!
