Currently we are looking for SAP Solutions Architect (WM) as we are supporting our FMCG partner in developing its SAP Competence Center.
The SAP Solutions Architect will be responsible for analyzing and translating business and requirements as well as applying her/his expertise to design, develop, implement, test and support new business capabilities into our partner’s SAP system. He/she will lead or participate in local or global projects across operations primarily focused on Warehouse Management.
This role is jointly responsible for the solution architecture, design and delivery of SAP solutions, middleware, and underlying platforms.

If you join us, your responsibilities will include:
- establishing relationships and collaborating with key business stakeholders from various business areas (primarily in warehouse operations), locally and globally, on current processes, and proposing solutions to enhance current processes, including advising on system options, risks, costs vs benefits and impacts
- designing, developing and testing system solutions to address business requirements, in the global solution template
- developing and maintaining the technical architecture approach
- configuring SAP Warehouse Management module to meet business requirements, including integration points with other SAP modules or other applications
- developing functional specifications for custom developments and collaborating with the development team to get those built and tested
- providing support to end-users for issue resolution, user acceptance testing, and occasionally training
- preparing presentations, documents, diagrams, models and other artifacts as required to communicate analysis, recommendations or designs
- supporting deployment of best business process template practices and solutions
We expect:
- advanced university degree in Computer Science or related field
- at least 5 years work experience in SAP product consulting, systems, integration or architect role, with at least 3 years of experience in SAP Warehouse Management, ideally in manufacturing organizations
- SAP WM functional configuration experience
- excellent expertise in ABAP development
- being an expert in analysing, creating system specifications, and developing testes and implementing business solutions utilizing SAP technologies
- good understanding of SAP security concepts
- strong relationship building and communication skills
- cultural sensitivity (global mindset)
- change management skills
- knowledge of identification of goods and locations (according to GS1 standards), including scanning (RF or other portable scanning technologies)
- experience in project go-live, including data migration, testing, training, hypercare, etc.
- fluent English as you will communicate in English almost all the time
Nice to have:
- background in food manufacturing
- certification in SAP WM or EWM module
