Currently we are looking for someone who enjoys the liberation of business through getting enterprise data transformed into useful information. We are looking to increase our client’s data democratization through the enablement of the cloud analytics data platform. What this role will ultimately be able to bring to our client’s technical and business teams is the ability to rapidly prototype and in doing so, create value in every business domain in the company through data science and analytics initiatives.
The Data Liberator standing in the forefront of new systems integrations using bespoke internal tools will be able to connect systems to the global data lake while upskilling the users on the benefits of data and analytics.
This role is ideal for someone who is eager to create connection to business and lead them towards the creation of harmonised datasets. This role could ultimately be the first step in our client’s advanced path to Data Engineering competency. All this in a challenging and collaborative environment within of one of the largest FMCG companies in the world.
If you join us, your responsibilities will include:
- engaging and communicating with business stakeholders to map out data access path linked to specific projects
- validating required data attributes and setting up technical environment for the upload tool
- leading Upload Tool implementation process within Engineering Chapter
- defining the required information express through data, collect, transform and internalize the data within the data platform
- standardizing and automating processes of data handling
- internalizing the knowledge of local specificity of data to address a need for unification
- cooperating with both business stakeholders to walk them through data collection process and technical experts to create easily accessible data platform
We expect:
- excellent communication, stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
- strive for optimization and automation of processes
- strong passion for working with data and willingness to develop data engineering skills
- organizational skills and self-motivation / sufficiency to introduce processes around data collection and unification
- comfortable with SQL and Bash Scripting
- fluency in working with data
- fluent English as you will communicate in English almost all the time
