We are searching for a Scala Developer to join our Team and work with an IBA strategic client. 

Duties:

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy Scala applications.
• Developing and maintaining scalable and high-performance solutions in a cloud environment, primarily on AWS.
• Implementing and maintaining serverless applications, leveraging AWS Lambda and related services.
• Designing, building, and maintaining efficient, reusable, and reliable Scala code.
• Working with data storage solutions on AWS, such as Amazon RDS and Amazon DynamoDB.
• Ensuring code quality, security, and adherence to best practices through code reviews and testing.
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions.
• Keeping up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve skills.

Our requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of commercial experience as a Scala Developer, with a focus on backend development.
• Solid understanding of AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, and API Gateway.
• Experience in developing and maintaining RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency in working with databases, both SQL and NoSQL.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker.
• Strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field 
• Good spoken English
