    Currently we are looking for a Regular / Senior Power BI Developer as we are supporting our partner in developing Global Analytics unit which is a global, centralized team with the ambition to strengthen data-driven decision-making and the development of smart data products for day-to-day operations. The team is meant to be a nucleus radiating data-driven entrepreneurial culture by acting as incubator to realize ideas by simply doing it: creating smart data products in all areas of business, be it sales, marketing, purchasing, logistics or any other part of the company. 


    We need someone with solid technical expertise in Business Intelligence area, especially Power BI and other Microsoft BI stack tools.


    You will participate in building and developing strong BI function on our client’s side (Business Intelligence is a part of Global Analytics unit).

    If you join us, your responsibilities will include:

    • ingesting data from a variety of corporate data sources and performing required transformations in Power BI query editor
    • analyzing data, hierarchies, groups, trends, etc.
    • creating score cards, reports and dashboards using Power BI
    • developing calculations in DAX which are accurate and performant on large datasets
    • designing effective layouts using themes and report grids
    • utilizing the navigation features in Power BI (e.g. bookmarks, drillthroughs) to guide readers through a compelling data-driven story
    • working with customers to manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes and fixing any defects identified
    • publishing reports via the Power BI service, managing them through distribution of apps and monitoring usage / data refreshes / security access
    • attending technical and business meeting and acting as a subject matter expert



    We expect:

    • great communication and interpersonal skills (you will need it to cooperate smoothly with your tech and business colleagues)
    • experience in similar role (Business Intelligence / Power BI Developer) using the Microsoft BI stack (e.g. SQL Server database, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, Power BI)
    • good working knowledge of Power BI 
    • solid SQL skills for querying and creation of views / tables, functions and stored procedures
    • being skilled in building dashboards, reports and cubes using SQL, MDX, DAX, Power BI or other visualization tools
    • knowledge of Azure stack and Microsoft PaaS offerings (Azure SQL Databases and Azure SQL Data Warehousing plus orchestration tools like Azure Data Factory and Enterprise Service Bus)
    • strong unit testing and quality assurance skills
    • ETL process design skills
    • knowledge of data modelling including designing effective BI data models
    • experience in designing Tabular models for self-service
    • ability to design, build, secure, deploy and process Tabular and Multi-dimensional models
    • fluent English (written and spoken) as you will communicate in English almost all the time
    • strong analytical and problem solving skills


    In addition, we will be pleased if you have:

    • working knowledge of leading customer marketing software tools (e.g. Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics)
    • experience in working across different global cultures
