    Job purpose:


    • Together we create intuitive, delightful experiences that go beyond people’s expectations as their lives evolve.
    • Amplify the bank’s brand personality through language, which is accessible, inclusive and helps customers to make the right financial decisions.
    • Embed the strategic direction and value of the User Experience Content Design discipline across a value stream.
    • Manage the demand and responsibilities of Content Designers across a value stream. Embedding research, data and insights, and our guidelines and standards



    What you’ll do:


    • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and preferences to shape content strategies and provide content that prioritises delivering value and enhancing the overall customer experience across multiple platforms.
    • Ensure that content maintains a consistent brand voice, tone, and visual identity across various platforms, while also tailoring it to the specific context and customer interactions of each platform.
    • Lead the creation of easily scannable and digestible content that allows customers to quickly grasp key information briefly, improving usability and engagement.
    • Work to ensure that content is contextually relevant to customers by understanding their journey and delivering the right content at the right time and place, enhancing the overall customer experience.
    • Provide clear and actionable guidance to customers through content, helping them navigate through products, services, and information seamlessly, ultimately improves customer satisfaction and retention.
    • Set up processes for collecting and integrating customer feedback into content design iterations, allowing for continuous improvement and optimisation of the customer experience.
    • Foster collaboration and alignment with cross-functional teams such as designers, developers, and product teams to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to content design and delivery.
    • Advocate for accessibility and inclusivity principles in content design practices, ensuring that content is accessible to customers of all abilities and backgrounds.




    What you need to have to succeed in this role


    • Previous experience in UX writing/content design.
    • Very high command of English (C2 level):


    Be able to tell the difference between the ‘good’ and ‘bad’ language, explain it in simple terms, and to suggest several ways to improve it.


    Understand detailed distinctions between synonyms and choose the most appropriate one in each context.

    Synthesise business demands and writing guidelines into a coherent and user-friendly copy.

    Have an eagle eye for grammatical and spelling errors.



    • Understanding and interest in the latest accessibility guidelines/requirements.
    • Readiness to constructively justify and defend your content decisions before various stakeholders, e.g., Business or Legal team.
    • Ability to train and tutor junior Content Writers.
    • Knowledge of Figma, Confluence, and Jira is highly advisable.
    • Experience in working in a multi-national environment and leading a team will be a plus.
