    This role will sit within Group Financial Crime Detection and Investigations, Digital Enablement - Future Design Team, with responsibility to lead and support a wide range of analysis activity to help define and shape strategic solutions, designs, change and roadmap activity across the value stream.

    The Senior Analyst will work collaboratively with the wider Future Design team, leading analysis to support current and future state operating models, business architecture and processes activities; cross value stream engagements, high level solutions designs and opportunities; business case and change opportunities and high-level requirements; strategic roadmap definition and plans in support of our business and financial goals.



    What you’ll do


    • Employing an improvement mindset to identify and define issues or problems that are less obvious; participate actively and constructively in brainstorming meetings where problems are discussed and/or resolved.
    • Undertaking analysis to inform and direct future design sessions to generate and prioritise potential operating model and process improvement ideas, in line with the strategy and value stream goals, collaborating with relevant stakeholders to identify initiatives with potential tangible outcomes.
    • Working with the Future Design team, SVS stakeholders and Transformation to develop high level business cases for proposed strategic / change initiative and opportunities.
    • Consolidating and analysing roadmap and planning inputs across the FC Value steam to provide a holistic view, identity potential gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities.
    • Evaluating relative costs, benefits, and obstacles of potential solutions before implementing.
    • Understanding the Group FC priorities, business drivers, competitors, and competitive strategy to help drive strategically aligned solutions, considering aspects of risk/reward.
    • Building effective working relationships with analysis and design teams in our delivery partners and working well with external partners.



    What you need to have to succeed in this role:


    • Proven track record as an outstanding analyst, consultant and/or business analyst.
    • Excellent demonstratable analytical skills, with experience delivering analysis activities and insights to support the identification / shaping of business & strategic change activities, solving complex issues.
    • Business analysis / project management experience including requirements gathering and design.
    • Business reengineering, process design / process reengineering, experience using a variety of tools and techniques, e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Design Thinking, Agile.
    • Experience gathering requirements and conducting design activity, with a mix of business, operations, and technology focused projects.
    • Experience of business / investment case development, including cost, benefits, and planning.
    • Experience of planning, delivering, and implementing change to different audiences and managing.
    • Proven ability to facilitate and bring together analysis activities across a broad range of stakeholders e.g., through leading workshops and collaboration sessions.
