The Reporting, KCIs, and KPIs support is accountable for the reporting against KPIs and KCIs related to data policy implementation across US data landscape. This role is responsible for working with the Reporting Lead to effectively apply the KCIs and KPIs and develop reports that provide insights to key stakeholders. The Reporting Analyst is also responsible for the development and approval of reports to be leveraged by internal and external stakeholders. This role will oversee the configuration and maintenance of reporting dashboard(s), custom reports, and visualizations to meet internal and external requests.
What you’ll do
- Work with Reporting Lead to apply relevant KCIs and KPIs.
- Oversee configuration and maintenance of reporting dashboard(s), including KCIs and KPIs and visualizations, to meet DAO needs.
- Develop, share, and approve reports for BAU meetings.
- Address custom reporting requests from internal and external stakeholders.
- Interact and be a representative throughout the region at various levels of management on behalf of the DAO.
- Interface regularly with the Reporting Lead and occasionally with the Data Design, Strategy and Practice Lead to address reporting needs.
- Cultivate a positive and collaborative working environment across DAO and the leadership team.
- Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the HSBC brand.
What you need to have to succeed in this role
- 3+ years of experience in developing executive-level reports, maintaining, and configuring reporting dashboards, and addressing custom reporting requests within a data-related organization.
- Hands-on experience with data visualization tooling (e.g., Qlik sense, Tableau, Power BI).
- Hands-on experience with cloud tooling (e.g., Google Cloud Platform, AWS, etc.).
- Proven ability to manage a wide range of internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Analytical skills that allow for the development of data-driven reports.
- Knowledge of typical KCIs and KPIs associated with data management.
- Strong analytical skills to derive insights from report patterns or outliers.
- Detail-oriented to identify elements that could impact KCI / KPI results.
