Procurement & Sourcing Controls Lead – Krakow, Poland

Lead HSBC’s global Source to Contract controls, ensuring procurement governance, compliance, and audit-ready processes across our purchasing activities. You’ll drive control improvements, deliver a multi-year compliance programme, manage regulatory/policy change, and strengthen risk oversight—making guidance clear and customer-focused.

Key requirements: senior procurement/strategic sourcing experience in a regulated environment, strong controls mindset, data-driven process improvement, executive stakeholder management, leadership capability, and familiarity with tools like Coupa.

• Significant experience in strategic sourcing/procurement operations in a large multinational.

• Controls experience in a regulated industry (financial services knowledge preferred).

• Strong analytical skills to translate complex data into right-sized controls and oversight.

• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills at senior/executive level.

• Proven leadership experience building accountable, high-performing teams.

• Relevant professional qualifications in controls/procurement/contracting (or similar).

• Knowledge of procurement tools (e.g., Coupa) and a simplification/automation mindset.
