    The Content Studio sits within Customer and Marketing and is responsible for managing HSBC's public websites (PWS) for Wealth and Personal Banking (WPB) globally and secure content on multiple platforms. 


    The Content Management Administrator is responsible for updating the PWS and other platforms according to briefs provided by market stakeholders. As part of a regional team covering EMEA (and ASP & US depending on staffing volumes), the role holder will be required to work effectively under direction of the local site lead and ultimately the Global Head of Content and Governance to create compelling and engaging content to drive customer engagement and acquisition. 


    While this is not a developer role, the role holder will also be required to troubleshoot and facilitate the resolution of issues with the PWS or the content management system (AEM) and so technical knowledge is advantageous. 


    This role will be required to support Out of Hours changes (business critical work that may need to be made outside of normal office hours).


    What you’ll do


    • Build customer focused, engaging content in our Content Management System (CMS) according to supplied briefs.
    • Troubleshoot and facilitate the resolution of technical issues with the PWS and/or content management system.
    • Communicate effectively with local market stakeholders – PWS Lead, Customer and Marketing, DEC, as well as regional stakeholders – Cross-functional teams, Customer and Marketing and Global stakeholder – Global Customer and Marketing, GPWS, Content & Copy.
    • Build collaborative relationships with relevant teams at a local, regional and global level.
    • Work effectively as part of a cross-functional team within GPWS and Content & Copy.
    • Proactively share best practice and knowledge around content management with relevant teams, providing insight and recommendations as appropriate
    • Identify of key risks, issues and interdependencies and providing appropriate mitigation strategies or escalating as appropriate.
    • You will be responsible for overall delivery.


    What you need to have to succeed in this role


    • Experience and knowledge of delivering digital best practice in areas such as content management, e-commerce, content strategy, web analytics, SEO, SEM, optimization, accessibility and UX/UI
    • Experience of working with web publishing tools, content management systems (specific experience with Adobe Experience Manager is essential) and project management tools (Jira/Confluence or similar)
    • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to communicate technical issues, resolve differences and influence stakeholders.
    • Ability to troubleshoot and facilitate the resolution of technical issues.
    • Experience in finance, banking or a regulated industry is advantageous.
