    Your career opportunity

    Our team is currently looking for a skilled individual to act as the Agile Lead. The role will be responsible for managing multiple services through the entire lifecycle. The Agile Lead will also communicate with IT senior management and other stakeholders to ensure a stable and smooth operation of our products and their delivery. We have an enthusiastic team working under Agile and DevOps principles, which offers interesting job with modern technology.


    The role sits within Cyber Security in our Identity and Access Management (IAM) function. IAM Technology is a global engineering and development team providing Identity and Access Management technology for HSBC. We provide and support many of the Bank’s most critical IAM infrastructure services including Active Directory, Privileged Access Management and Access Governance. We are passionate about providing high-quality, automated, and self-service solutions to our customers.


    What you’ll do

    • Lead and manage large, highly visible, enterprise-level project deliverables consisting of multiple cross functional teams using lean/agile methodology in a fast-paced environment that crosses multiple business divisions and requires coordination within a large and complex dependency network
    • Play a leadership role to help establish the appropriate people, process, and tools across teams distributed around the globe
    • Coach and support teams as needed to optimise flow
    • Work closely to support the Agile Project Managers, project managers, and market delivery leads with their team’s development while removing blockers and impediment to accelerate E2E delivery; leveraging organisational resources to improve capacity for project work; and mentoring and developing team members
    • Champion agile and lean principles to reduce lead time of delivering product to markets while creating a culture of continuous improvement
    • Manage stakeholder’s expectations and working relationship with the teams with focus on transparency and collaboration
    • Support the teams in driving transformation initiates within global HSBC organization




    What you need to have to succeed in this role

    • 2+ years’ experience in one of the following: Agile Lead, Scrum Master or IT Team Leader
    • Understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts including related controls
    • Flexible, adaptable and able to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to work under pressure and remain calm in the face of adversity.
    • Knowledge of all components of an enterprise IT architecture and processes.
    • Knowledge of ITIL, JIRA, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow
    • 2+ years’ practical experience with Scrum and DevOps principles
    • Knowledge of Micro services architecture and Rest API concept


    Nice to have:

    • Knowledge in Splunk, database operations, .NET framework, automated testing, TDD, BDD
    • Experience as a Scrum Master/Agile Lead 
    • Prior working experience with Azure DevOps will be an advantage but not a must.
