    Our Release Managers coordinate and ensure good governance is implemented on releases around all markets where we operate. In Release Management, you have the opportunity to launch features and products that improve the financial lives of millions of our customers globally.

     

    What will you do?

    • Forward-plan release cycles in alignment with other releases and commitments
    • Coordinate, plan and manage all release content and effort for each market assigned
    • Work with stakeholders to ensure there's scope and visibility of upcoming releases
    • Communicate all key release plans, commitments, and changes including requirements, QA plans, schedule and scope changes
    • Nurture inter-team relationships and organise work between different teams at different locations
    • Host Release Readiness reviews and Business Go/No-Go reviews
    • Communicate release details and schedules to the Business as required
    • Collaborate with release engineers to understand impact of branches and code merges
    • Maintain the release schedule for your assigned markets and ensure alignment across stakeholders and cross functional teams
    • Participate in CAB meetings to discuss release scope and/or impediments
    • Continually work towards making improvements in the release process
    • Manage risks and resolve issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality
    • Consider an overlapping with the testing side, to make sure QA has signed off all features prior to release

     

    About you:

    • Previous Release Management experience (at least 3 years) and a solid understanding of Agile project management principles
    • Good working knowledge, experience and enthusiasm of github, jenkins (or deployment tools) and an appreciation for automation!
    • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion
    • Advanced knowledge of software development lifecycle
    • Experience of working with audit requirements, cybersecurity, change management and control procedures preferred
