Job description
We are looking for Java Developer who will be responsile for new platform developement. It will be large scale, real time, enterprise architecture solutions developement. You will be working within a cross-functional team in an Agile/SCRUM development cycle to deliver quality products to our external customers.
Main responsibilities:
- Analyse business needs and deliver multi-tier solutions using J2EE and related technologies
- Provide support in terms of research and problem solving
- Deliver requirements based on business needs
- Be able to work under pressure and react to changing user requirements
- Ensure all programs are fully tested and documented, in accordance with Elavon Merchant Services development guidelines
- Provide all required setups and documentation in relation to audit requests
Requirements:
- 2+ years web application development in a project-based environment
- Advanced Java 8, JavaScript, HTML, CSS development
- REST API creation and integration
- Experience working with Java application servers like Tomcat, JBoss, WebSphere and tools Eclipse, Maven/Gulp, Jenkins
- Experience with Databases, preferably SQL server or Oracle and demonstrated experience with Data Architecture design principles
- Experience with load balancing concepts, and clustering technologies
- Background with version control and professional software development
Desirable Experience:
- Experience with Spring / Hibernate Framework
- Angular JS
- DVCS such as Git
- Unit testing frameworks such as Junit
- Understand and demonstrate knowledge of service oriented architecture(SOA) and best practices
