Software Architect (AWS/Python/JavaScript)

📌Location: Poland, remote or an office in Gdynia

💸Salary: up to 32,000 PLN gross on Contract of Employment + 80% KUP

💼Reporting: collaboration with the team and supervisor in the USA

🦸🏻‍♀️🦸🏻‍♂️Role: As a Software Architect, you'll be a key player in designing, developing, and enhancing our innovative cloud-based SaaS platforms. You'll collaborate with talented engineers and stakeholders to create solutions that transform data into actionable insights and streamlined workflows.

🔎Projects: Cloud-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) with platforms:

1️⃣Project: offers scalable backend solutions, front-end interfaces, and a mobile app for managing WiFi. It's designed to help service providers optimize and monetize their services.

2️⃣Project: simplifies the management of various network technologies and enhances customer service with AI-powered tools.

Responsibilities:

🖱️Performing or assisting in high-level and low-level software design and implementation of new features and enhancements to existing software.   

🖱️​Performing or assisting in feasibility studies of needed software development.   

🖱️​Documenting the design including features definition and architecture.   

🖱️​Conducting and participating in design reviews and code reviews. 

🖱️​Planning and performing unit, acceptance, and end-to-end level testing of implemented software modules and enhancements. 

🖱️​Helping fix software bugs found during all testing phases. 

🖱️​Working with the team to deploy and test incremental software releases. 

🖱️​Organizing and coordinating development activities within schedule and product constraints. 

🖱️​Other projects and assignments may result and be assigned to accommodate the changing needs of the department and the Company.

Requirements:

✅Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field required. 

✅​12+ years of software engineering experience, including 4 years in software architecture or equivalent roles.

✅​Proficiency in Python and modern web frameworks (Angular, React) and languages (TypeScript, JavaScript).

✅​Strong ownership attitude and willingness to drive feature architecture and support the development teams during the implementation and integration process.

✅​Proven professional experience with software design, implementation and debugging.

✅​A solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software engineering. 

✅​Experience with Material Design, Figma, Storybook.

✅​Knowledge of AWS SaaS deployments, setup and aspects like system’s multi-tenancy, scalability and security.

✅​At least B2 English proficiency level.

✅​Experience with at least one modern test frameworks (Jest, pyTest, Selenium).

➕​Nice to have: proficiency in the Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) elements with tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Enterprise, Artifactory, AWS, Kubernetes.

➕Experience with Java is an advantage.
