    Job description

    Online interview

    Who are we?

We are a fintech company that builds a SaaS platform for home service professionals (e.g. plumbers, electricians, and other Pros). 🔧 Our core product helps our clients with scheduling, dispatching, job management, invoicing, payment processing, marketing, and more.

We support over 45,000 businesses and have over 1,700 ambitious, mission-driven employees in San Diego, Denver, and worldwide (half of the engineering team is in Poland 🇵🇱). Our teams build an application that improves users’ lives (70k users, 4.6 rates at App Store)

    Compensation: 2 500 USD per month (B2B) / 9 700 PLN (B2B)*

    🔹 We offer:

    • Paid time off
    • Flexible work hours
    • Equity shares in a rapidly growing Unicorn company backed by top-tier VCs
    • A culture built on innovation that values big ideas
    • We work in Central European Time
    • Newest MacBook + Setup Fee ($500)

🔹 Join us, if you have:

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering program, or equivalent work experience
    • Basic experience in software engineering and motivation to develop your skills in Ruby on Rails technology
    • Basic knowledge of Ruby on Rails; completing an online course combined with any engineering experience is acceptable
    • Theoretical knowledge of agile frameworks (especially Scrum)
    • A theoretical understanding of SOLID principles
    • Fluency in Polish and English (we work in Polish teams for a US-based company)

🔹 What will help you succeed:

    • Excellent communication skills – you’ll be working with a dispersed team, so first-class communication is a must
    • Natural curiosity and strong motivation to constantly develop your skills and knowledge
    • Practical understanding of Test-driven Development
    • Theoretical understanding of Domain-driven Design
    • Basic understanding of cloud computing and cloud platforms, preferably AWS
    • Experience working with a larger group of people committing to the same project

🔹 We will enhance your growth by:

    • Hands-on experience with a SaaS product from day one (no fake projects developed just for the sake of the training program)
    • Individual support from your tech mentor and engineering manager
    • Regular feedback on your performance and career success conversations
    • Thoughtful onboarding to the engineering tools and processes
    • Opportunity to cooperate with top-class product experts in Poland (this is not an exaggeration; nearly all of our engineers are senior-level professionals)

    🔹 Selection Process:

    1. Short online knowledge quiz/test (3 days to submit results)
    2. Phone screen with a recruiter (30 mins)
    3. Take-home assignment, assessed by tech recruiters (3 days to submit results)
    4. Culture interview (60 mins)
    5. Technical interview (60 mins)

We estimate that the cooperation will start at the end of September or early October.
