Senior Data Scientist

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to become part of the team for a global pioneer in outdoor products for forests, parks and gardens, as well as equipment for the light construction industry, a unique opportunity to contribute to solutions that echo around the world.

Main responsibilities:

• Perform end-to-end development and deployment of AI solutions, including data pre-processing, data analysis, model building, model optimization, as well as deployment in cloud environments and subsequent maintenance;
• Design, build, install, test and maintain data management systems in accordance with business requirements and industry standards;
• Develop and expand scripts for database maintenance, deployment and ETL operations;
• Manage cloud services, primarily AWS and Azure, as well as other storage systems relevant to the development of data and Artificial Intelligence solutions;
• Oversee data performance and make infrastructure changes to improve existing processes and models;
• Collaborate with data architects, cloud architects, developers and other IT professionals on project goals;
• Help develop and document a list of features, user stories and roadmaps that align with the overall product vision;
• Gather and analyze product feedback from stakeholders using data analysis, surveys, concept testing, analytical tools and A/B testing;
• Effectively present complex concepts to non-technical people;
• Stay up-to-date on the latest technology trends related to data science, data engineering and AI;
• Engage in academic and research projects that are relevant to the perspective of the entire Enterprise AI organization;
• Support the idea generation process during various creative sessions, using your technical and entrepreneurial experience;
• Proactively identify business opportunities through technology-driven innovation;
• Participate in knowledge-sharing activities to raise the company's awareness of AI-related topics.

We offer a choice of employment form: B2B or Employment Contract 

• UoP: 15 700 – 23 200 PLN gross/month
• B2B: 110 – 160 PLN net/hour + VAT

You might be the perfect match if you are/have:

• 5+ years of experience in end-to-end development and delivery of data and AI solutions;
• Bachelor’s / Master’s / Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field;
• Familiarity with Databricks and experience using repository management tools such as Git;
• Over 5 years of experience with cloud services: primarily AWS and/or Azure;
• Excellent knowledge of Python, SQL and experience in Java or Scala;
• Experience working with big data technologies such as Spark;
• Knowledge of supervised and unsupervised machine learning tools and methods, as well as mathematical programming techniques (e.g., linear programming with mixed integer variables);
• Excellent verbal communication, presentation, collaboration, and teamwork skills;
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach;
• Located in Poland;
• Fluent in English.

• Familiarity with Copilot.
