Our Shared Service Center is a supporting function for other entities within Hoist Finance. We play an important role in relation to Hoist Finance's development strategy. We perform internal processes and create supporting tools, which optimize and support the work of various teams in other countries. Our Wrocław office is a constantly evolving place, where over 100 colleagues provide support in the fields of accounting, investments and digital solutions. Role Purpose:

The purpose of the Scrum Master will be to work as part of the development team with colleagues across a diverse range of products; throughout Europe; focusing on the delivery of the group wide Hoist strategic Collections & Recoveries platforms. To leverage scale, best agile practices, decision making processes and eliminating team blockers, the role may require travel into other countries and support other projects around the implementation of collection software.
 
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES 

  • Using agile methodology values, principles and practices to plan, manage, maintain and deliver solutions. 
  • Training, mentoring and supporting scrum teams to follow agile values, principles and practices, and guiding the team to higher scrum maturity. 
  • Clearly and concisely determining and communicating development tasks from agreed business requirements. 
  • Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests 
  • Monitoring progress, performance and tracking estimates vs delivery timescales. 
  • Ensuring the proper use of collaborative processes. 
  • Helping build a productive environment where team members ‘own’ the product and enjoy working on it. 
  • Collaborating with other teams, managers, and stakeholders to identify potential problems before they arise. 
  • Managing tasks, issues, risks, and action items. 
  • Tracking project processes, deliverables, and financials. 
  • Scheduling and facilitating scrum events, meetings, and decision-making processes. 
  • Running the daily stand ups for several development teams 
  • Driving the removal of blockers to ensure the development teams can focus on delivering sustainable software. 
  • Planning and organising demos and product/system testing. 
  • Preparing and presenting status reports to stakeholders. 

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 

  • Certified scrum master, SAFe preferred. 
  • Previous experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role. 
  • Working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks, such as Scrum & Kanban, to deliver software application solutions. 
  • Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement). 
  • Leadership experience. 
  • Proven team-player. 
  • Excellent people and project management skills. 
  • Strong communications skills; written, spoken and all round communication with Senior Key Stakeholders within the business. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Demonstrable experience of identifying Best Practice and delivering these into other organisations. 
  • Fluent English skills, English is our OneHoist language and will be shared across function. 
  • Practical knowledge of Azure DevOps.

DESIRABLE 

  • Banking/finance or collection experience. 
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a relevant field preferred.
