Job description
HL Tech is a new Hargreaves Lansdown’s technology center that will allow us to bring innovative new products to the market, and to support its rapid growth we are looking to expand its technology capabilities.
You will be working as part of an Agile/Scrum squad dedicated to greenfield projects that will create innovation, a major step forward in next generation client service on the £700 billion savings market in the UK.

IT Solution Architect
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Designing architecture for our new technology software solutions,
- Developing cross-project conventions on base of own research process, e.g. security of data, contracts matching,
- Support Product Owners with applying DDD strategic patterns,
- Mentoring developers on implementing requirements with usage of DDD tactical patterns,
- Participating in Event Storming Design Level sessions,
- Evaluating compatibility of team solutions with current infrastructure including Active MQ, Kafka, Kubernetes and Oracle cluster, tracing and monitoring tools and surrounding ecosystem of services,
- Shaping infrastructure to demands of upcoming projects,
- Working collaboratively as part of a team to get deeper insight in development process and identify areas of improvement,
REQUIREMENTS
- Working experience in similar role, with responsibilities including architecture design, technology project advisory, decision making, mentoring developers,
- Programming skills, gained throughout your professional career (at least 5 years of experience in software development is required), including Java, Spring, and DDD methodology
- Architecture design of distributed systems (e.g. SOA, microservices), especially integrated with asynchronous communication
- Cooperation with DevOps to provide execution environment for solution designed
- Analytical thinking
- Problem solving mindset
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Languages: Polish, English
