Key duties and responsibilities:
- Working on large-scale, custom-designed, multi-tier, enterprise-level software development projects
- Defining and establishing quality standards in the functional area
- Ensuring there is a balance between technical innovation and what’s right for the client by considering appropriate technology choices and understanding the business vision
- Building effective and highly skilled teams including recruitment, induction and training of the staff
- Taking care about team’s development including: building career paths, ensuring competency development reflecting project needs; supporting individual career goals (around 40 developers)
Requirements:
- A degree in computing, IT or a numerate discipline
- Excellent communication skills both in Polish and English
- Hands-on development and delivery experience with a broad mix of languages and technologies
- Extensive knowledge of agile, Lean best and Continuous Delivery approaches and best practices, such as Continuous Integration, TDD, BDD, Infrastructure as Code etc.
- Great OOP skills, including strong design and enterprise integration patterns knowledge
- Knowledge of software best practices like Refactoring, Clean Code, Domain Driven Design etc.
- Experience with leading, coaching and mentoring individuals and teams
