Role Description:

Designing and Implementing Landing Zones: Creating secure and scalable landing zones on GCP for new and existing clients. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Using tools like Terraform to automate the provisioning and management of infrastructure. Network Architecture: Designing and maintaining network architectures that ensure high availability, performance, and security within the landing zone. Security and Governance: Implementing security best practices, establishing governance guardrails, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Automation and CI/CD: Developing and maintaining automated pipelines for infrastructure provisioning and deployment, often using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Terraform. Collaboration: Working with cross-functional teams (security, networking, application development) to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Cloud Migration: Assisting with migrating applications and workloads to Google Cloud Platform. Monitoring and Observability: Implementing monitoring solutions and establishing robust logging and alerting mechanisms to ensure the health and performance of the landing zone. Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving technical issues related to the landing zone and its components.

Google Cloud Platform (GCP): Deep understanding and hands-on experience with various GCP services (e.g., Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Virtual Private Cloud, IAM, Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring).Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficiency in using tools like Terraform or similar for infrastructure provisioning and management.Networking: Strong understanding of networking concepts and best practices, including virtual private clouds, firewalls, and load balancing.Security: Knowledge of cloud security principles, access management, and compliance frameworks.Automation: Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
