Currently for our client, international information technology consultancy firm we are looking for someone to fulfil NetApp & Pure storage position.

Responsibilities

- responsibility for incident, change, problem and capacity management of storage systems and SAN switches.

- management of L2/L3 production/project support activities.

- responsibility for system enhancement and performance tuning of storage devices.

- responsibility for software and firmware upgrades on storage and SAN.

- participating in or independently leading storage related projects.

- coordinating hardware/software repairs with suppliers.

Job requirements

- 5+ years experience in storage technology with strong understanding (hands-on support and troubleshooting experience) of EMC ECS, Cisco/Brocade, NetApp and Hitachi VSP storage.

- strong storage concepts and experience with tools such as OCUM, SMO, BNA, Unisphere, Hitachi command suite.

- Knowledge of BCV administration, performance management.

- Fabric switch administration (CISCO, Brocade).

- experience in data migration projects.

- experience with NAS protocol administration on the storage side (CIFS, NFS).

- ability to monitor storage device ports.

- good knowledge of Shell or Perl scripts for monitoring or automating storage tasks.

- experience working with storage vendors to resolve complex technical issues.

- experience in performing root cause analysis.

- understanding of local or remote replication using technologies - Hitachi GAD, HUR, NetApp snap mirror.

- knowledge of NetApp data protection tools and technologies.

- understanding and experience of working with NetApp storage technology in mode 7.
