To strengthen our branch in Poland, we are looking for:

DevOps Engineer – Front-End with Java

For one of our customers, a Finnish commercial TV channel, we develop and maintain tailor-made IT systems. In a small DevOps Scrum Team, you will be developing new features according to business requirements, improving existing ones as well as making necessary fixes to a production system and making it running efficiently. You will be working in an international (Nordic) team having as partners highly skilled colleagues.

Most of your time will be Development (at least 75% of the time) and some Operations (up to 25% of your time, shared in the team).

Technology stack for Dev is focused mostly around front-end: JavaScript, CoffeeScript, BackboneJS, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap 3, and some back-end: Java, Groovy, Grails, REST, SOAP, SQL, JBoss EAP, Linux, Bash. We are using Ant, Maven, Eclipse, Visual Studio Code, JIRA, Confluence, and some other.

Ops includes maintenance support of Linux and Windows servers (cloud): OS reboot, patches, upgrades, user management.

We are looking for a smart person who already has proven programming skills in a professional environment. You don't need to be an expert in all the technologies mentioned above. Five basic skills you need to apply are:

At least 2 years of experience in front-end technologies
Practical knowledge about basic operations related with servers
Some Java knowledge
Eagerness to learn beyond your current area of expertise
Very good English skills
