We are looking for a senior ML engineer to lead our next project:

The Project:

One of the largest online clinics in the UK aims to improve operational efficiency by reducing the time clinicians spend documenting and summarising patient interactions.

The project consists of designing and building an ML/LLM system, to extract structured medical information (such as side effects, treatment goals, etc.) from various text sources, including audio transcripts and text conversations. 

Your Role:

• You will be responsible for designing and developing the system, including: 
• Proposing different approaches, considering trade-offs between complexity, impact, costs, and other relevant factors 
• Experimenting with and validating the most promising approaches
• Iterating on your solution to achieve a high level of performance 
• Thoroughly evaluating your models and documenting any residual errors 
• Advising on deploying and integrating the solution into the client's application 

Project Duration:

This is a 6-month project with the potential for extension. 

Qualifications:

• Senior AI/ML Engineer 
• 4+ years of relevant experience 
• One or more NLP/LLM projects in production 
• Proficiency in English and excellent communication skills 
• A "get it done" attitude 
• The ideal candidate has successfully delivered a similar project end-to-end in the past
