Overview of the Role

The Senior IT Specialist – Global Access Management is a critical member of our global security team, responsible for managing, governing, and optimizing user access to enterprise systems across the organization. This role ensures secure, compliant, and efficient access management practices are implemented, directly supporting HCLTech’s commitment to safeguarding information assets and enabling seamless business operations. Fluency in Italian is required to support our global client base and collaborate across diverse teams.

  • Contract: Employment contract

  • Work mode: Hybrid (min 2 days WFO)

  • Working Hours : Monday - Friday, normal working hours

Detailed Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire user access lifecycle, including onboarding, role changes, and offboarding processes for global employees and partners.

  • Provision and revoke user access across multiple enterprise systems, ensuring timely and accurate execution.

  • Enforce the principle of least privilege and maintain robust Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) frameworks.

  • Administer and optimize Identity and Access Management (IAM) tools, including handling access requests and resolving related issues.

  • Support internal and external audits by preparing access records, reports, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Monitor access-related incidents, investigate potential security risks, and collaborate with security teams for remediation.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to promote security best practices and enhance the organization’s access control posture.

  • Document processes and contribute to continuous improvement of global access management procedures.

Skill Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of IAM concepts, technologies, and best practices.

  • Hands-on experience with administering IAM tools and platforms.

  • Strong understanding of access control models and security frameworks.

  • Proficiency with IT Service Management (ITSM) tools.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with fluency in Italian and English.

  • Demonstrated experience in access management or similar IT security roles.

Nice to have

  • Industry certifications such as ITIL, CISA, CISM, or IAM-related certifications are highly desirable.

  • Experience supporting audit and compliance activities in a multinational environment.

  • Additional language skills and experience working in global teams are advantageous.
