In this team, you are responsible for organizing the financial recording, financial and actuarial reporting in such a way that these reports pass through the financial IT chain in a timely and efficient manner. The financial IT chain is broad and complex. The financial IT chain includes investments, financial bookings, actuarial reporting and financial reporting for IFRS and Solvency II. The chain includes knowledge of financial systems (SAP Fico) and reporting systems (SAP BW, SAP BCS, SAP Disclosure Management, CXO, Powercenter, Risk engines such as IGLOO and ALGO). Achmea has a complex financial landscape and this requires that you enjoy a challenge to take control of it.

Your primary task as an application manager is to take responsibility for the content of the application. So that it is delivered in accordance with SLA. This requires you to effectively manage the ITIL processes (incident, problem and change, etc.) where continuity, availability and capacity are and remain guaranteed. In the context of 1Finance, we ensure that we provide First Time Right (FTR) and Straight Through Processing (STP). This requires you to be clear and not to correct yourself, but to confront people about incorrect submissions. In addition, you ensure that manual work is a thing of the past and that chains run without human intervention.

In the coming years, the reporting environment (SAP BW, SAP Disclosure management, BCS, etc.) will be in full swing and there is a lot to learn. Because FICO is being migrated to new environments, this requires different BW reporting and access to SAP Disclosure management. It is important to analyze the output to identify where problems exist or what the impact of changes is on the input that the Run Finance department receives. In the future, the step to SAP S/4 Hana will be made. If you want to learn a lot and build up knowledge, then this is the time to get involved. Naturally, we will train you and ensure that you gain knowledge about the Achmea implementation

You have good (technical) knowledge of financial systems (SAP BW, SAP Disclosure management, BCS, etc.) or you understand why SAP created SAP and can quickly master your modules. You are able to master the functional knowledge of the application and provide guidance based on the Financial reporting chain. As an application manager/functional manager, you and developers are responsible for ensuring that changes are checked and tested and sent to production. You accept these changes on behalf of all parties involved in the management and consult with them. You form the bridge between developers and technical administrators to bring changes to production in a good, safe and controlled manner. You direct the chain and connect those involved in the chain so that the chain functions more effectively and efficiently with each release.
