In this team, you are responsible for organizing the financial recording, financial and actuarial reporting in such a way that these reports pass through the financial IT chain in a timely and efficient manner. The financial IT chain is broad and complex. The financial IT chain includes investments, financial bookings, actuarial reporting and financial reporting for IFRS and Solvency II. The chain includes knowledge of financial systems (SAP Fico) and reporting systems (SAP BW, SAP BCS, SAP Disclosure Management, CXO, Powercenter, Risk engines such as IGLOO and ALGO). Achmea has a complex financial landscape and this requires that you enjoy a challenge to take control of it.

Your primary task as an application manager is to take responsibility for the content of the application. So that it is delivered in accordance with SLA. This requires you to effectively manage the ITIL processes (incident, problem and change, etc.) where continuity, availability and capacity are and remain guaranteed. In the context of 1Finance, we ensure that we provide First Time Right (FTR) and Straight Through Processing (STP). This requires you to be clear and not to correct yourself, but to confront people about incorrect submissions. In addition, you ensure that manual work is a thing of the past and that chains run without human intervention.

Developing in the modeling team is done using: Python and to a lesser extent C# and R. This is done in OpenShift containers. As an application manager you are responsible for the deployment of the software to acceptance and production. You monitor the acceptance criteria of software and ensure that the acceptance criteria are in order before production. You ensure that you acquire knowledge of the tooling surrounding models (e.g. Azure DevOps, Github, etc.).

Models are characterized by their ad-hoc nature, which requires good capacity management to keep costs low for Achmea. In your role as application manager, you also resolve incidents and problems with models. The application manager also takes care of authorizations. You also coordinate run matters with other teams to ensure the production of reporting runs smoothly, e.g. to the interface and the operation of the model in the chain. You are a full member of the Scrum team Models management (Moma) and you contribute the run and operational aspects in refinements so that non-functional requirements are included in the realization or adjustment of the models.

You have knowledge of deployment tooling (e.g. Azure DevOps and Github), ITIL, database (SQL Server) and authorization management (AD and IDM). Experience with Workload Automation will help you speed up the chain by starting processes automatically.
