Due to our growing business needs we are looking for:
IBMi Application Support Technician
Daily Activities:
- Supporting and maintaining application for our Client on iSeries platform (GDS)
- Installing and configuring upgrades and new versions of the application
- Incident and problem handling as 3rd line of support
- Application and iSeries platform support
- Working on possible application maintenance solutions
Requirements:
- Required relevant experience – 1-3 years
- Good knowledge of iSeries (AS400, System i)
- Experience in SQL
- Experience in support and maintenance team(s)
Additional Skills
- Knowledge of GDS (Global Dealer System) or other applications on iSeries platform
- Knowledge of MQ, Interform
- Knowledge of VCOM, VIDB, iSeries SOE
- Basic knowledge of LAN and WAN issues
Soft Skills:
- Holistic approach to problems
- Self-reliant and well organized
- Languages required – Polish, English
