Junior Network Administrator
Cracow, Poland
Responsibilities:
- Close cooperation with Senior Network Administrator
- Support LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and intranet systems (part of international multi-site infrastructure with datacenters)
- Maintain network hardware and software
- Analyse and resolve Network Incidents/Problems and Service Requests
- Monitor networks to ensure security and availability to specific users
- Help to maintain integrity of the network, server deployment, and security
- Ensure network connectivity throughout a company's LAN/WAN infrastructure
- Take part in deployment of network solutions
- Assign configuration of authentication and authorization of directory services
- Maintain network servers such as file servers, VPN gateways and intrusion detection systems
- Administer routers, switches, firewalls, security updates and patches
- Act according to Policies and Procedures e.g. Change Management process
- Maintain internal technical documentation
- Maintain monitoring infrastructure
Knowledge:
- 6+ months in network administration or 1+ year in IT technical support (needs to include network troubleshooting)
- Understanding of main Network concepts
- Knowledge of Cisco Routing & Switching solutions
- Higher Information Technology/Computer Science education
Nice to have:
- CCNA or CCENT certificates, as well as Cisco Academy trainings
- Fluent in English (written & verbal)
