Overview

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join a technology-focused team supporting enterprise-grade development operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing GitLab instances, enabling seamless CI/CD processes, and supporting infrastructure integrations to enhance development efficiency across multiple teams.

What You’ll Do

• Administer and maintain GitLab environments, including installation, configuration, upgrades, and ongoing performance monitoring

• Lead the planning and execution of repository and pipeline migrations across GitLab instances

• Design, build, and optimize robust CI/CD pipelines to support secure and efficient software delivery

• Manage users, access rights, and permissions to ensure appropriate security and compliance across development environments

• Oversee source code repository organization, including branching models and merge processes

• Monitor system performance, resolve bottlenecks, and implement best practices to ensure platform reliability

• Integrate GitLab with key DevOps tools and platforms such as Jira, Jenkins, Docker, and Azure

• Maintain thorough documentation of system configurations, migration strategies, and operational procedures

• Provide ongoing technical support and guidance to developers on GitLab best practices and usage

What We’re Looking For

• substantial experience in GitLab administration, including installation, upgrades, and configuration

• experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines

• experience in programming or application development

• experience in help desk or technical support roles

• Proficiency with scripting languages for automation and troubleshooting

• Strong hands-on experience working with Unix/Linux environments and Azure

• Demonstrated ability to integrate GitLab with various tools and platforms

• GitLab certification is highly desired
