Data Engineer

For one of our top client, we are looking for a Data Engineer.

This position is hybrid/remote - the office is located in Katowice.

We can offer B2B or a Contract of Employment.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Pipeline Development: Design, implement, and maintain efficient data pipelines to support robust data integration and processing.
• Data Quality Assurance: Implement best practices for data consistency and quality across all processes.
• Issue Troubleshooting: Quickly diagnose and resolve issues with data feeds to minimise disruptions.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Establish communication channels with both technical and business teams to manage company data assets.
• End-to-End Development: Work through the full development lifecycle, from analysis and design to testing and release.

Requirements:

• Experience: 3+ years as a Data Engineer with expertise in data integration, real-time streaming, or data warehousing.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Scala or Java or Python programming, experience with big data streaming tools such as Spark, Flink, or Kafka, familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP for data processing, strong SQL skills for query writing and optimization.
• English proficiency at least B2/C1
