Data Engineer

For one of our top, international clients from the electronic sector we are looking for an experienced Data Engineer.



Please notice, that this position is based in Warsaw (hybrid work - 3 days per week from the office).

About the role:

As a Data Engineer, you will be developing and sustaining the state-of-the-art advertising infrastructure. Your role will include enhancing our data processing capabilities, working with teams across the globe, and ensuring the timely creation of analytical reports. This position offers the chance to work with a wide range of advanced technologies and contribute to a project with a worldwide presence.

Responsibilities:

• Optimize and revamp services to enhance the speed of report generation.
• Develop and sustain services for generating analytical reports.
• Oversee the engineering lifecycle of services from design through deployment and maintenance.
• Liaise with project stakeholders to meet business and technical requirements.
• Work in collaboration with other engineering teams.

Must-have:

• Min. 3 years of experience in data engineering, particularly with Hive and Spark.
• Advanced experience with AWS and Scala/Python.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Experience with Snowflake or a willingness to learn it.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Telecommunications, or a related discipline.
• Strong communication skills in English (both written and spoken).

Nice to have:

• Experience with Ruby on Rails, React UI, and Flask.
• Familiarity with GraphQL and REST APIs.
