Data Engineer

For one of our top, international clients in FinTech we are looking for experienced specialists for the position of Data Engineer.

The position is based in Warsaw, Poland (hybrid work – 2/3 days a week working from the office).

As a Data Engineer, you will test, implement and maintain a data platform, create and add changes to the apps and work closely with company's different internal teams to make sure that Clients needs are satisfied. 

Requirements:

• Solid (4+ years) commercial experience as a data engineer or similar positions
• Knowledge of Python - frameworks & systems
• Strong experience with SQL (DDL/DML)
• Experience working in Agile environment 
• Good understanding at least one of: AWS, PySpark, Databricks
• Experience with databases and ORM frameworks
• Experience with software design and development in a TDD environment

Scope of responsibilities:

• Write efficient, clean code 
• Work closely with IT and business teams to analyze and determine the scope and expectations of the project
• Implement & maintain ETL pipelines, data models and business logic
• Perform integrations of our software components and third-party programs
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software
