Harvest is seeking a Software Engineer to join its dynamic team and support its diverse customer base.

Based in Malta and reporting to the Head of Product Engineering and Architecture, the successful applicant will join the software development team which develops and maintains bespoke solutions and house products.

The Software Engineer will mentor junior developers, provide strategic technical input and technical solution designs, liaise with the customer account management, business development and services teams; and develop and unit-test bespoke solutions according to customer requirement

The Software Engineer proactively contributes and develops PTL’s current products according to technical roadmaps; contributes to implementing innovative technologies for greater efficiencies and improved quality; provides analyses, debugging and troubleshooting of third level support calls; and delivers optimised code with excellent performance attributes.

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Computer Science or similar and be able to demonstrate proficiency in .NET, C#, ASP .NET, Javascript, CSS, Web APIs and SQL with a minimum of two years’ experience. Any relevant certifications in the areas stipulated will be considered an asset.

Candidates must possess excellent problem-solving skills and love technical challenges, be self-motivated and able to multi-task, and have experience in an Agile development environment.
