About the Role:

As a Senior Software Engineer you will work in an agile, cross-functional development team, you will own the SW components and features. You will have end-to-end responsibility for design, implementation, integration and testing of DSP SW. You will be part of Harman international team distributed across Poland, Germany and China. You will work closely with customer’s team in order to design, integrate and deliver quality solution.

Please note that this is a remote opportunity, but with the requirement of being based in Poland.


Responsibilities:

  • Development, testing, and creating documentation of embedded software,
  • Development, testing and optimizing Inter-processor communication and memory management code,
  • Development of drivers and services on DSP and ARM cores
  • Maintenance and optimization of existing software solutions
  • Reviews of code and documentation,
  • Resolving complex issues on the border of HW and SW,Integration with 3rd party SW components and resolving integration issues,
  • Supporting development team and PM with your expertise,
  • Supporting test team with test preparation,
  • Interface directly with customer SW teams,
  • Taking care of ASPICE traceability,Guarding quality of own and reviewed code, securing compliance with MISRA rules.


Must have:

  • Experience with C/C++ embedded programming,
  • Background with Digital Signal Processing, digital filtering etc.,
  • Practice with data digitalization like audio sampling and audio processing issues,
  • Experience with TI C66 and ADI Sharc/Griffin architectures,
  • Experience with writing low level drivers,
  • Working knowledge of software development tools (debugger’s, emulators, compilers, etc),
  • Good understanding of hardware design, reading schematics,
  • Using oscilloscope and logic analyzer for troubleshooting,
  • Experience with embedded RTOS,
  • Experience with Google UT framework,
  • English min. B2,
  • Familiarity with ASPICE traceability requirements.


Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with Ethernet, UART, SomeIP, AVB,
  • Experience with usage of Lauterbach debugger,
  • Experience with writing network drivers and applications and working with Vector based CAN applications,
  • Experience with AUTOSAR,
  • Familiar with PC and vehicle networking (Serial, CAN, MOST, etc) and diagnostics (UDS, KWP2000),
  • Experience with writing network drivers and applications (Serial, USB, CAN, MOST, AVC-LAN) and working with Vector based CAN applications,
  • Cooperative team player with pro-active mindset,
  • Ability to work with high level of uncertainty – explorative tasks, not well defined,
  • Deeper awareness of quality aspects in software development.
