Job description
What You Will Do:
- Install, configure, troubleshoot installation of our product on customer’s networks
- Provide high quality technical support via phone, e-mail and on-site to customers
- Providing support to sales team qualifying new opportunities
- Manage case tracking, prioritization, and escalations to global support / R&D
- Develop demonstrations and tools for Harman’s products on various platforms
- Handle stressful situations with competing deadline
- Respond to customer-reported issues on a timely basis (meeting SLA targets)
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues
- Deliver, integrate and maintain complex environments
- Maintain quality standards to ensure the best customer experience
- Onsite and remote workshops, demonstrating Harman solutions & products and its latest features.
What You Need:
- Bachelor’s degree (BSc or other equivalent technical degrees)
- 5+ years of experience as a software/infrastructure engineer
- Experience with Application Servers – Apace Tomcat, WebSphere, WebLogic
- Database experience (SQL)
- Strong Linux and scripting in Python, Shell, etc.
- Experience and knowledge of enterprise IT systems
- Networking background – configuring and operating
- Strong problem solving/debugging capabilities
- Experience working with global accounts
- Ability to effectively communicate technical topics
- Ability/desire to travel as needed (20%)
- Must be able to work flexible hours according to customers’ needs
