    #1 Children Apparel Company in the world is looking for Service Desk Specialists.


    On this position, you will be responsible for technical support of your colleagues. Your task will be to receive and process reports regarding technical problems at the highest level of service (starting with 60+ employees in Poland, additionally cooperating with the department in the USA, France, the Netherlands and Asian market).


    Duties:

    • Provide technical support to users through phone, email, chat, or remote access tools.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve common issues with hardware, software, network, and peripherals.
    • Escalate complex problems to senior help desk technicians or engineers.
    • Follow written instructions or scripts to perform basic tasks such as deployments, installations, updates, backups, and password resets.
    • Use a ticketing system to log, track, and document all interactions and resolutions.
    • Maintain and update users' documentation and inventory records.
    • Communicate effectively and courteously with users and teammates.
    • Participate in training and learning activities to enhance technical skills and knowledge.

     

    Required skills:

    • Minimum 2 years of experience on similar position
    • Technical skills: You need to have a strong understanding of the technology used by our organization, such as hardware, software, network, and peripherals. You also need to be able to install, update, troubleshoot, and resolve common issues with these technologies.
    • Customer service skills: You need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with our users and provide them with assistance and support. You also need to have empathic listening skills and be courteous and respectful to our employees.
    • Problem-solving skills: You need to have good analytical and logical skills to identify and resolve problems quickly and efficiently. You also need to be able to escalate complex problems to senior technicians or engineers when necessary.
    • System administration skills: You need to have some knowledge of system administration tasks, such as managing user accounts, patching systems, and configuring computer settings. You also need to be able to perform maintenance and backup tasks on the systems.
    • Training skills: You need to have some ability to provide training and guidance to our users on how to use the products or services. You also need to be willing to participate in training and learning activities to enhance your technical skills and knowledge

    Recruitment:

    - Introductory meeting (main) - one hour - teleconference with me and the head of the IT department in Polish. We can switch to English for a moment to check your skills level. During this meeting, we also discuss substantive topics on both sides.

    - Second meeting (a week after the first conversation, unless we agree otherwise) - in case of mutual interest, we finalize the substantive and employment details
