This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include the following:
- As Senior Frontend Engineer in the Enablement team, you will be the expert in frontend engineering for the product team
- Report to the Director of Engineering and work across the other teams in the Hosting Enablement group
- Working closely with UX developers and backend engineers, design and build the platform portal used by internal GSK teams for deploying their workloads
- Understand, research, and follow technical trends in the industry
- Promote improved cross team working practices while bridging the gap between rapid feature delivery and delivering future facing scalable platforms
- Help establish technical standards and guide technical engineering practices and methodologies in the frontend engineering space
- Work collaboratively with other teams inside Hosting Services to create reliable and resilient systems
- Understand, apply and share testing practices, everything from unit testing and E2E testing to integration testing and A/B testing

Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
- A desire to collaborate closely with users, engineers, & stakeholders to deliver quality software that solves problems
- Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS and other web technologies
- A deep understanding of Typescript and considerable experience building SPAs with modern frameworks (preferably VueJS)
- Familiarity with client-side build processes & tools such as Yarn, Webpack, Babel, etc.
- Experience with Javascript testing frameworks, tools and methodologies such as Jest, Mocha, Cypress, etc.
- Experience with Web APIs such that the following terms make sense to you: OAuth, GraphQL, REST, WebSockets, Swagger
- Strong English skills (min. B2 level) – used on daily basis
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision while focused on delivering results aligned to the team's success metrics
- Shows problem solving and supportive attitude
- Demonstrated ability for sound judgment with strong emphasis on quality
