The Senior Web Developer is a key role for the Web Development Team.  Our team is developing portal for Health Care Professionals for 80+ markets, using JavaScript (Vanilla), SCSS, but also have parts of groovy scripts and Jenkins for CI/CD.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career.  These responsibilities include the following:

  • Providing technical direction and expertise to product team
  • Being a technical authority for clients and DevOps team
  • Continuous delivering of technology solutions, mostly dealing with front-end
  • Pro-actively proposing improvements and enhancements for product / process / repository in order to increase system reliability and reduce Technical Debt
  • Pro-actively engages in experimentation and innovation to drive relentless improvement e.g. to UX/CI and reducing technical debt/risk
  • Providing technical mentoring for less experienced developers in a team
  • Creating automated tests on framework built upon WebdriverIO /Selenium
  • Finding a technical solution in unsolvable situations
  • Being a problem-solver instead of problem-seeker
  • Working in two week sprint

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in front-end
  • Practical advanced knowledge of JavaScript and CSS / SCSS
  • Knowledge of RWD
  • Experience in GIT
  • Ability to write DRY, SOLID code
  • Knowledge of good coding practices
  • Problem solver attitude
  • Very good English skills - level B2/ C1 (communicating with teams from other countries)

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Experience with relevant technology platforms (e.g. Adobe Marketing Cloud) and frameworks including cloud technologies
  • Experience in working using Agile methodology (i.e. as a member of a Scrum team)
  • Knowledge of AWS
  • Experience in writing unit and e2e tests
  • Familiarity with CI/CD
  • Knowledge of Groovy Script
  • Knowledge of testing strategies & frameworks
